On February 10, 2025, 34-year-old African American woman Matyka Brown was tragically killed in her home on Millicent Avenue in Dayton, Ohio. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. Brown's two daughters, aged 9 and 14, managed to escape the house and sought help from a neighbor, who then called 911.
