On May 14, 1989, Toni Watkins was found brutally beaten in Dayton, Ohio. She was dropped off at Grandview Hospital, but despite the efforts of medical staff, she passed away after spending twelve days in a medically induced coma. Toni was discovered in a disoriented state in the streets of the Old Orchard and Kenwood areas, seeking help.
