Faith Victoria Guffey, a 25-year-old woman from Dayton, Ohio, tragically passed away on October 11, 2021. She was identified as homeless at the time of her death. Faith was shot in the head on Caho Street in Dayton, and despite being rushed to the hospital, she was pronounced dead.
The investigation led to the arrest of Ricky Renado Hill, a 45-year-old man from Dayton. Hill was indicted on charges of murder, felonious assault, and having weapons while under disability.
It was revealed that Hill had been released from prison just months before the shooting, having served 28 years for an attempted murder conviction. The court found Hill guilty, and he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for at least 22 1/2 years.
