On January 2, 2011, 72-year-old Jessie Swain was killed in a tragic shooting at her home on South Ardmore Avenue in Dayton, Ohio. The incident was part of a drive-by shooting that took place late at night, with 23 bullets fired into her two-story home. At the time of the shooting, Jessie Swain was in her bed. She suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, but she sadly passed away early the following morning, which happened to be her 73rd birthday.
