On January 2, 2011, 72-year-old Jessie Swain was killed in a tragic shooting at her home on South Ardmore Avenue in Dayton, Ohio. The incident was part of a drive-by shooting that took place late at night, with 23 bullets fired into her two-story home. At the time of the shooting, Jessie Swain was in her bed.
