Jaylen Betts, a 21-year-old man from Texarkana, Texas, was tragically killed in a shooting that occurred in the early hours of May 10, 2025. The incident took place in the 1300 block of Carroll Street, where police responded to reports of gunfire just after midnight. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims inside the home—Betts, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 52-year-old man who sustained injuries but survived.
