On January 23, 2025, 69-year-old Gerald Pogzeba was fatally shot in his home in Banks Township, near Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania. Authorities reported that the incident occurred when his neighbor, 25-year-old Dylan Eroh, fired a shotgun through the wall of his row home, striking Pogzeba. The Monroe County Coroner pronounced Pogzeba dead on Friday afternoon, and the death was ruled a homicide.
