On Sunday, May 11, 2025, 16-year-old African American male Davion Elzy was fatally shot in the parking lot of a convenience store located at 13360 Northborough Drive in Houston, Texas. At approximately 3:35 p.m., Houston Police Department officers were flagged down regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Davion Elzy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported him to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, where he was pronounced dead.
