On the night of May 7, 2025, 30-year-old Miles Hanna, a white male resident of Gallatin, Tennessee, was fatally shot at Lock 4 Park's second boat launch area. Gallatin Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire around 11:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Miles Hanna deceased at the scene.
