On a cold December evening in Gallatin, Tennessee, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of violence. Kevin Green, a 21-year-old male, was killed on December 15, 2018, on South Maple Street. Gallatin police officers, responding to a report of shots fired, discovered Green deceased at the scene. Another individual was also found to have been injured during the incident.
Investigators quickly determined that the shooting was the tragic culmination of a drug deal that had turned into a robbery. The investigation led to the identification and arrest of three individuals in connection with the fatal shooting. Andre D. Gillespie was apprehended and faced a series of grave charges, including criminal homicide. His charges were extensive, also encompassing possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, tampering with evidence, and drug-related offenses.
Two others, Nakia Rogan and Paris Kesinger, were also implicated in the events surrounding Green's death. Both were charged with accessory after the fact, in addition to tampering with evidence and drug possession charges. Kesinger subsequently turned herself in to the authorities the day after the incident. The swift arrests brought the suspects before the judicial system to answer for the death of Kevin Green.
