Norman Higgins, a 45-year-old male from Spartanburg, South Carolina, was fatally shot on April 30, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. near the J.C. Bull Apartments on Marion Avenue. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire and found Higgins suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. He was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 4:12 p.m.
