Clarence Houston, a 31-year-old man from Cleveland, Ohio, was found dead in Bedford on March 7, 2025, following an apparent shooting. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 5:50 p.m. near Northfield Road and Rockside Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered Houston seated in the driver’s seat of a black Ford Explorer with no signs of life.
He was transported to Metro Hospital, where he was officially pronounced deceased.
The incident occurred while Houston was stopped in traffic at a light, and multiple witnesses were present at the scene. A pedestrian walking on the sidewalk and a cyclist passing by reportedly saw the shooting unfold. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation processed the vehicle in hopes of uncovering crucial evidence.
