On January 29, 2023, Hysheen Thomas Jr., a 13-year-old boy from Bedford, Ohio, tragically lost his life due to gun violence. Hysheen and his older brother had been sent by their mother to a nearby store when they became victims of a shooting incident. While his brother survived, Hysheen succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to MetroHealth Medical Center.
