On December 21, 2024, at approximately 6:15 PM, police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in front of 1295 Rodman Place in the Bronx. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Richard Spigner, a Black male, suffering from gunshot wounds to the face and chest. He was immediately transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities withheld his address but confirmed he was a resident of the Bronx.
