On the quiet morning of December 26, 2024, in the town of Mamakating, New York, a tragedy unfolded that claimed the lives of three people, including 69-year-old Maryann Daloia. The events began to come to light when Sullivan County 911 received a call reporting a shooting at a residence on Sunset Point at Yankee Lake around 10:30 a.m.
Upon their arrival, New York State Troopers discovered the body of 65-year-old Thomas K. Fusco inside his home, deceased from a gunshot wound.
This initial finding prompted a homicide investigation, which quickly led law enforcement to a neighboring residence. After obtaining a search warrant, what they found inside painted a grim picture of the violence that had transpired.
