The circumstances surrounding Tiheen Jahkese Bell’s death were linked to a botched robbery attempt
in the Caldwell Court area of Greenville. According to reports, Tiheen, along with another individual, allegedly planned to rob 19-year-old Jamere Ravelle of Winterville. During the confrontation, Tiheen reportedly shot and killed Ravelle. However, a fourth individual, who was accompanying Ravelle, allegedly returned fire in self-defense, fatally wounding Tiheen. Authorities have not disclosed the identity of this fourth person, and no charges have been filed against them.
Following an investigation, Greenville Police arrested 19-year-old Jaywon Demario Everett in connection with the incident. Everett faces multiple charges, including open count of murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. His charges stem from North Carolina’s felony murder rule, which holds individuals criminally liable for any deaths that occur during the commission or attempted commission of specific felonies. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not ruled out further developments in the case.
