On August 30, 2022, Christopher Bullock, a 40-year-old man from Greenville, NC, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. Greenville police responded to a report of shots fired on Vance Street around 9:30 p.m. They later found Bullock in the 800 block of West Fifth Street with a gunshot wound. He was transported to ECU Health, where he was pronounced dead.
