On March 21, 2025, 18-year-old African American male Jameier Christopher-Lyrell Revelle of Greenville, North Carolina, lost his life in a double homicide that occurred during a botched robbery attempt in the Caldwell Court area of Greenville. The incident also claimed the life of 18-year-old African American male Tiheen Bell, also of Greenville.
