Arthur Lee Gilmore, a 65-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed in his Greensboro, North Carolina, apartment on the night of April 1, 2025. Gilmore was a well-respected member of the Collins Grove United Methodist Church, where he had been an active choir member for years. His sudden death has left his church community and loved ones in shock and mourning.
