Michael Thomas Vandross, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 21, 2014, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Covey Lane, where Vandross and another individual, Kenneth Lamont Munn, were shot. Vandross was pronounced dead at Moses Cone Hospital, while Munn, a 31-year-old African American male, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
