A man dies from a gunshot wound to his thigh
Gregory Lamont Chaney, a Greensboro resident, was found dead on August 25, 2010, following a shooting incident. Police responded to a call at 921 Hackett Street at approximately 8:25 a.m., where they discovered Chaney's body. Initial investigations revealed that he had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the thigh. The incident was immediately ruled a homicide, and authorities began investigating potential leads.
