On the morning of April 30, 2025, 33-year-old Latina woman Jaylisa Quinones-Pinet was fatally shot in the Juniata Park neighborhood of Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 9:23 a.m. on the 1500 block of East Luzerne Street, where police found Jaylisa and a 38-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
