On the morning of April 30, 2025, 33-year-old Latina woman Jaylisa Quinones-Pinet was fatally shot in the Juniata Park neighborhood of Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 9:23 a.m. on the 1500 block of East Luzerne Street, where police found Jaylisa and a 38-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Jaylisa had sustained several gunshot wounds to her torso and was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to Temple University Hospital. The male victim was hospitalized in ...
