On October 31, 2022, Sayon Brown, a 27-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost his life due to multiple gunshot wounds. Brown was one of three victims shot on the 200 block of West Ontario Street that evening. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene at 8:17 p.m., they found Brown suffering from his injuries and immediately transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
