On the evening of Halloween in 2022, a tragic event unfolded on the 200 block of West Ontario Street in Philadelphia, resulting in the death of Sayon Brown. Brown, a 27-year-old Black male who resided on West Allegheny Avenue, was found by Philadelphia Police officers at approximately 8:17 p.m., having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported him to Temple University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced deceased.
