On October 30, 2016, 30-year-old Cornelius Hodges was found dead from a gunshot wound behind a house on Hamilton Street in Omaha, Nebraska. His body, initially thought to be a Halloween decoration due to its condition, was discovered under a vehicle. Hodges had been missing for nearly a week after leaving his mother’s home in the early hours of October 24.
