On October 30, 2016, 30-year-old Cornelius Hodges was found dead from a gunshot wound behind a house on Hamilton Street in Omaha, Nebraska. His body, initially thought to be a Halloween decoration due to its condition, was discovered under a vehicle. Hodges had been missing for nearly a week after leaving his mother's home in the early hours of October 24. His parents, Diane and Kenny Perry, were devastated by the news and have been searching for answers ever since.
