In the early morning hours of March 14, 2025, a sense of unease settled over the small town of Mountain Park, Oklahoma. Police were dispatched to a residence off State Highway 183 following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival at approximately 2:30 a.m., they discovered the body of 63-year-old Sandy Killian. It was determined that Killian had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was promptly called in to lead the homicide investigation.
