In a tragic turn of events on a Monday morning, 43-year-old Catalina Jimenez lost her life in a fatal shooting. The incident unfolded just after 8 a.m. outside a residence on Wildwood Road as she was preparing to pick up a coworker for their carpool. Her estranged husband, 51-year-old Manuel Alaniz, approached in his vehicle, blocking her car before exiting and firing two shots into the driver's side where she sat, fatally wounding her.
