On a tragic day in Edmond, Oklahoma, the life of 41-year-old Judy Stephens Denney was cut short. On August 20, 1986, Denney was one of the victims of a mass shooting that unfolded at the United States Post Office where she worked. The perpetrator was a disgruntled mail carrier who, after facing the possibility of being fired, unleashed a horrific act of violence upon his colleagues.
