The young girl, who had just completed the first grade at Coronado Heights Elementary School, was shot by her father, 29-year-old Billy Feaster, in a murder-suicide that ended both of their lives. The incident occurred in the backyard of a residence on Northwest 42nd Street around 11 a.m.
The tragedy unfolded during a supervised, court-ordered visit with her
father. Elizibeth's parents, Tina Folk and Billy Feaster, had been involved in a custody battle since 2018. Court records indicate that Billy Feaster had been ordered to undergo a domestic violence assessment, a psychological evaluation, and counseling. On that fateful morning, Billy Feaster's parents were at the home when he took his daughter's life before turning the gun on himself. It was Elizibeth's paternal grandfather who made the frantic 911 call. Emergency responders pronounced both Elizibeth and her father dead at the scene.
Elizibeth, affectionately known as Lizzy, was remembered as a happy, sassy, and creative little girl who loved unicorns, butterflies, art, music, and dancing.
