On May 23, 1992, the body of 31-year-old Kim Marlene McVey, a white female, was discovered behind a partially constructed building at 9600 N. Memorial Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma. An investigation determined that she had died from a gunshot wound to the head. The case remained unsolved for decades, becoming a cold case that investigators would periodically revisit.
