On December 27, 2024, at approximately 1:49 p.m., Western District patrol officers in Baltimore, Maryland, responded to the 2100 block of Druid Hill Avenue after receiving alerts from the city's shot-spotter system. Upon arrival, officers discovered 21-year-old Tyrez Countess, a Black male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
