On the evening of March 29, 2025, 56-year-old Pamela Ahmed, a Black woman, was fatally shot in the front yard of a residence located in the 5600 block of East 29th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. Responding to reports of a shooting just before 7 p.m., police officers arrived to find Pamela Ahmed suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
