In the quiet town of Saint-Martinville, Louisiana, the life of 45-year-old Codie Jermaine James, a male resident, was abruptly ended on a Friday evening. On January 17, 2025, authorities from the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call just before 7 p.m. reporting a man found deceased inside a vehicle in the 2400 block of Catahoula Highway.
