In a quiet, gated community in the northwest corner of Las Vegas, the evening of March 18, 2025, was shattered by a domestic disturbance that ended in the death of Julius Rogers. A 30-year-old Black / African American male, Rogers was found by police responding to a call at approximately 9:22 p.m. on Cheltenham Street, near the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and Durango Drive.
