On April 11, 2025, at approximately 11:01 a.m., Springfield Police responded to a reported burglary in progress at 208 E. Kearney Street in Springfield, Missouri. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals deceased inside the business. Authorities later identified the victims as Julie Kudrna, a 52-year-old Caucasian woman, and Jeremy Kudrna, a 52-year-old Caucasian man, both residents of Springfield.
