On February 9, 2025, 30-year-old African American male Trevon Devante Hairston was fatally shot in Leesville, Louisiana. The incident occurred just after midnight in the parking lot of the Legacy Grooming Lounge on South Fifth Street. According to authorities, an argument escalated into gunfire, resulting in three individuals being shot. Trevon Hairston succumbed to his injuries, while the other two victims were hospitalized for treatment.
