On May 9, 2025, authorities in St. Louis, Missouri, responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 5100 block of Wells Avenue, where they discovered a homicide scene involving multiple victims. Among them was 34-year-old Ariel Eastling, a resident of St. Louis. Law enforcement officials later identified her as one of three victims in what was determined to be a triple homicide.
