Jonah Kimindu Mutua, a 23-year-old man from Silver Spring, Maryland, was fatally shot on March 8, 2025, in the 2700 block of Fairdale Terrace. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 11:04 a.m., where they discovered Mutua suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in a parking lot.
