Patricia Ann Jackson, a 58-year-old female employee at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, was fatally shot on March 19, 2025, just one day after her birthday. The incident occurred in the hospital's parking lot on Hennessy Boulevard in Baton Rouge as she was leaving work. Jackson was inside her vehicle when she was shot multiple times following a verbal altercation. Despite being rushed to the hospital where she worked, she succumbed to her injuries.
