On the night of March 14, 2025, at approximately 11:34 p.m., Baltimore Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of North Ellwood Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 19-year-old Black male, later identified as Maurice Jerome Lonon, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Maurice Jerome Lonon succumbed to his injuries on March 18, 2025.
