On the morning of April 5, 2025, 27-year-old Hispanic woman Eliza Vega-Aparicio was found deceased inside a residence on the 1400 block of Cypress Street in Saginaw, Michigan. Originally from Aguanga, California, Eliza had relocated to Michigan in December 2022 to work as a traveling nurse’s assistant, with aspirations of becoming a licensed vocational nurse. She was discovered by police around 4:15 a.m., having suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
