Treyvontae Ellis, a 20-year-old male from Kankakee, Illinois, tragically lost his life in a mass shooting at a New Year's party in Kankakee on January 1, 2025. The incident occurred inside a home on Pierson Parkway, where approximately 50 people had gathered to celebrate the arrival of the new year.
