Darrell L. Simmons, a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on December 30, 2021, in Kankakee, Illinois. The incident occurred in an apartment located in the 300-block of North Harrison Avenue. According to police reports, the shooting was drug-related, and Simmons was specifically targeted.
