On a tragic Mother's Day weekend, Leslie Yvette Davis, a 54-year-old African American woman, was found dead in her home in Palmer Park, Maryland, on May 10, 2025. A beloved grandmother and reverend, she was babysitting her four young grandchildren at the time of her death. The shocking discovery was made by her own daughters when they arrived at the residence on Ray Leonard Road to pick up their children.
