Abel Alvarado, a 41-year-old Hispanic/Latino male, spent the evening of March 28, 2008, at a North Omaha truck shop where he rented space and worked as a mechanic. Around 8:30 p.m., police were called to reports of gunfire and directed to a building at 2015 North 11th Street.
