On January 28, 2025, 37-year-old Hispanic woman Oriana Rodriguez was fatally shot in an alley in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred around 4:50 a.m. in the 7700 block of South Oglesby Avenue, where she and another victim, 39-year-old Hispanic woman Yeris Norelis Jimenez Castillo, were found with gunshot wounds to their heads.
