Deon Baker, a 42-year-old man, was found fatally shot outside his vehicle in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, on January 28, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 9:10 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Newcastle Avenue. According to reports, Baker suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead.
