Shante Porter, a 37-year-old woman, was fatally shot during an argument inside an apartment in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred on the evening of January 31, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of South Emerald Avenue.
