Death by Force

Curtis Haynes, a 28-year-old male security guard at Highland Hospital in Oakland, was fatally shot near 84th Avenue and International Boulevard around 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025. The shooting occurred shortly after Haynes was involved in a confrontation at the hospital where he worked. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
