In the early morning hours of January 20, 2025, the life of 37-year-old Rodney Nixon Jr., a Black male from Indianapolis, was tragically cut short. The fatal incident unfolded around 3:30 a.m. in the hallway of an apartment building on North Warman Avenue. Responding to a report of a person shot, police officers discovered Nixon with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
