Ke’Tavious Walker, a 30-year-old African American male, was shot and killed in Pompano Beach, Florida, on February 16, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 12:52 a.m. at 713 N.W. Sixth Street. Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a shooting, prompting a response from Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue. Upon arrival, authorities found Walker suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced deceased.
BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. As of now, no suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made in connection with Walker’s death. His mother, Tequesta Burris, has publicly pleaded for anyone with information to come forward, expressing the deep pain of losing her son to gun violence. She has urged witnesses to contact law enforcement or Broward Crime Stoppers to help solve the case.
In an effort to encourage tips, Broward County Crime Stoppers has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Authorities continue to seek leads, hoping that someone will provide crucial details that could bring justice for Walker and closure for his grieving family.
