Jamie Brown, a 45-year-old man, was fatally shot in Chicago's Austin neighborhood on March 27, 2025. The incident occurred in the 4700 block of West Monroe Street at approximately 4:24 p.m. Brown, who was sitting inside his vehicle, was approached by a truck carrying two individuals. Without warning, the occupants of the truck opened fire, striking Brown multiple times in the head and body. Emergency responders transported him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:51 p.m.
